These traps are designed specifically for the types of moths (webbing clothes moths) that live in closets, clothing, carpets, rugs, upholstery fabrics, blankets and any stored woolen or silk product. This pheromone kit includes two pre-baited, ready-to-use traps. This product is 100% pesticide free, and utilizes moth pheromones to interrupt the mating cycle. If we can't catch them, nobody can!
Clothes moths mate and deposit their eggs usually within 1-2 days of emergence from the pupae. The females do not live long after egg deposition although the males of the webbing clothes moth can survive for about one month. Depending on temperature and humidity, total developmental time (from egg to adult) varies from one to three months and can extend up to three or more years in some situations.
Males and females from both species shun light and are frequently overlooked by homeowners. When discovered, the adults are more likely to try to escape by running rapidly than by flying.
Note that these traps are NOT for pantry or flour moths - we have specific traps for that type of moth infestation under Pantry Moth Traps.
"A small problem"

Review: It works! The only problem is that the "tent" can collapse as the top part that attaches the sides seems not to be sticky enough. Pulling it apart is hard and it becomes crooked. HOWEVER, after all is said and done, it traps all those little moths.

Review: The traps caught ONE moth. My expectations were not met. I am still confronting this problem. I expected better results.
You really need to give it more time as it works on interrupting the moth life cycle. Please give us a call if you need any tips on where to place the traps etc etc and of course, let us know if it's not working for you after another week or so.

Review: they work great. I had moths eating my house up. We have wool carpets and they made a home. It was horrible. Under our furniture too. Everywhere. I keep putting the moth traps out every 3 mo as recommend. It worked. I still use them just in case one comes in.
