Clothes moths mate and deposit their eggs usually within 1-2 days of emergence from the pupae. The females do not live long after egg deposition although the males of the webbing clothes moth can survive for about one month. Depending on temperature and humidity, total developmental time (from egg to adult) varies from one to three months and can extend up to three or more years in some situations.
Males and females from both species shun light and are frequently overlooked by homeowners. When discovered, the adults are more likely to try to escape by running rapidly than by flying.
Note that these traps are NOT for pantry or flour moths - we have specific traps for that type of moth infestation under Pantry Moth Traps.

Review: With wool rugs, escaping feathers from comforters, wool/silk/linen clothing and cats the appearance of moths had been a regular factor until I started using these traps. They are miracle workers and no accompanying odors. Thank you!!

"A small problem"

Review: It works! The only problem is that the "tent" can collapse as the top part that attaches the sides seems not to be sticky enough. Pulling it apart is hard and it becomes crooked. HOWEVER, after all is said and done, it traps all those little moths.
