Description and Uses:
Camphor essential oil is a powerful oil with a fresh and penetrating aroma. Camphor can be used topically in a massage blend (always be sure to dilute well) or diffused into the air. It's reputed to have uplifting and energizing qualities. Camphor is also commonly found in vapor rubs and balms used to relieve congestion and may also soothe achy muscles.
Cautions:
Camphor essential oil should be avoided by those with epilepsy and asthma. Do not use during pregnancy. Use with caution, as camphor can be a skin irritant. Do not use if undergoing homeopathic treatment, as camphor can interfere with those remedies.
