Bay Laurel essential oil, also known as Sweet Bay or Laurel Leaf, is an uplifting and rejuvenating oil. This essential oil has a broad spectrum of uses, and is especially noted for use in aromatherapy and bath and body applications.
How to Use Laurel Oil:
As a nerve tonic, Bay Laurel essential oil is said to be helpful when one is experiencing a lot of doubt and uncertainty. Gabriel Mojay ("Aromatherapy for Healing the Spirit") describes Bay Laurel as an essential oil that "...strengthens the Qi of the Heart and enhances one's presence of mind." He also recommends Bay oil specifically for those times when one needs enhanced concentration for study and learning.
Cautions:
Use bay essential oil in moderation and dilute well (max 0.5%) if using topically. Do not use with children age 5 and under. Not recommended during pregnancy.
