Description:
We love basil essential oil because we find it to be an invigorating and refreshing aroma. Try diffusing it after a difficult day to renew your spirits and clear your mind. This is the basil we recommend for any topical use.
A warming oil, Basil is lovely in a massage base or a bath when one is feeling worn out, weak, exhausted and can't see their way forward. Salvatore Battaglia recommends Basil essential oil for those times when we might feel vulnerable or indecisive.
For headaches, try a few drops of basil and lavender in a lotion base. Rub gently on the neck area to soothe tension. This might also be a nice blend to support the digestive system.
Cautions:
This basil is the preferred choice for those with sensitive skin due to its high linalool and low methyl chavicol concentrations. For topical use dilute to a maximum of 3%.
