Witch Hazel is a versatile and useful extract, used to help in the healing of all sorts of skin problems: bruises, sunburn, diaper rash, hemorrhoids, psoriasis, and rashes caused by poison ivy and oak. It is also helpful for acne, oily skin, mature skin and aids in removing makeup. Witch Hazel can be added to lotions, facial cleansers and other skin care products, and added to a sitz bath for helping with hemorrhoids.

Caution: Avoid use on broken skin and do not use near the eyes.

Commercial Witch Hazel extracts usually contain more alcohol than actual Witch Hazel. This extract contains 86% Witch Hazel extract and only 14% alcohol, making it more soothing than the version found in most local stores.
