Aromatherapy Flower Waters Using Pure Essential Oils
Here at Dreaming Earth Botanicals, we use our 100% Pure and Natural Therapeutic Grade SomaTherapy Essential Oils to produce fabulous Flower Waters (Floral Waters). We make these Flower Waters by combining Pure Essential Oils with distilled water, a natural dispersent and vitamin E (as a preservative). Our Rose Petal and Orange Blossom Flower Waters are especially nice and make a wonderful toner for the face. We offer four and eight ounce bottles with atomizer tops and larger refill sizes.
Flower waters have so many uses: put one in the refrigerator for an invigorating spritz on hot summer days, or use for a lovely, light room fragrance. The lavender flower water is soothing and cool on the skin after being exposed to too much sun. Try spritzing your sheets and laundry with flower waters - there's hardly anything better or more restful than sleeping on Lavender sheets.
Is a Flower Water a hydrosol?
Sometimes you will see the term "hydrosol" used interchangeably with "flower water" or "floral water", but hydrosol refers specifically to the water that is a byproduct of the steam distillation of Essential Oils. When we first started our business, we used hydrosols but soon found that they spoiled quickly and soon became rancid. So, making our own Flower Waters fresh proved to be a much better solution.
