Description and Uses: Lavandin essential oil is a hybrid plant, a cross between true lavender and spike lavender. Like Lavender, Lavandin is helpful for relaxation, and is also very useful in relieving muscle and joint pain and in easing respiratory congestion.
The aroma is similar to Lavender, but sharper and more penetrating. Most of the "lavender" soaps, lotions, perfumes, etc. that we see in the stores are made from lavandin. Traditional use: soothing agent, muscle relaxant, skin conditioner, astringent.
