Description and Uses: Citronella essential oil is a light, fresh and uplifting oil, obtained from the grass. It's a natural deodorizer and is reputed to repel insects (mosquitos).
Traditional uses: deodorant, skin conditioner, and insect repellent.
Properties: antiseptic, bactericidal, diuretic.
Cautions: Citronella essential oil may cause irritation in those with sensitive skin. Avoid during pregnancy.
