Lavender Provence - Organic Essential Oil

Our Organic Lavender Provence Oil is by far our most popular essential oil. Gentle, versatile and with a lovely, velvety soft, floral aroma.

Botanical Name: Lavandula angustifolia, L. officinalis, L. vera
Origin: France, Region of Provence
Family: Labiatae
Aroma: Herbaceous, floral
Perfume Note: Middle to top
Method of Extraction: Steam distilled

Main Chemical Components: Linalol, linalyl acetate, lavandulol, lavandulyl acetate, terpineol, limonene, caryophyllene
Blends Well With: Bergamot, chamomile (roman and german), lemon, geranium, clove, clary sage, palmarosa, rosemary, eucalyptus, patchouli, clary sage, rose, jasmine, ravensara, lemongrass, mandarin essential oils.

Description and Uses: We carry four Lavenders, and this is by far our favorite. The aroma is velvety smooth with a sweetness that's soft and floral. This lavender essential oil is high in Linalyl Acetate, which gives it outstanding calming and antispasmodic properties. We think it's absolutely worth the extra expense, especially if you're looking for an oil to help with relaxation.
Lavender is the most versatile of essential oils. It is relaxing and refreshing, uplifts the spirits, and helps to relieve the distress of muscle pain. No home should be without it. Lavender essential oil balances your body and mind, calming or uplifting according to your body's needs. Excellent for refreshing tired muscles, feet and head. Add a drop to the pillow/sheet before peaceful sleep. Treats burns and reduces scarring. Can be used neat in small amounts on burns, but care still needs to be taken.
