Grapefruit Seed Extract has so many benefits that it's hard to keep the description brief, but perhaps its greatest benefit is due to it's multipurpose (broad spectrum) effect. Helpful whether the cause of an infection is known, unknown or misdiagnosed, grapefruit seed extract naturally detoxifies, enhances and supports the immune system. High in vitamins C, E and bioflavonoids, GSE has an antioxidant action and can help neutralize free radicals that damage cells and cause a number of illnesses. External uses include but are not limited to: Acne, Athletes Foot, Nail Fungus Infections. Skin Infections: Fungal / Bacterial / Parasitic / Viral / Ringworm, Cuts / Wounds. Warts, Poison Ivy/Poison Oak, Rashes, Jock Itch, Shaving Itch, Dandruff, Cold Sores / Herpes, Head Lice, Chickenpox, Cracked Lips, Toothbrush Cleaning and much more! Some Suggested Uses: Using an application of grapefruit seed extract solution, (one part of the extract and nine parts water) dab on herpes virus, and within ten minutes the virus becomes inactive. Dab gently each day to affected area. For head lice, mix two thirds cup of shampoo with one third cup of the extract solution (7 drops of extract in one third cup of water) and throughly massage into hair and scalp. Then place a shower cap over the hair and allow the mixture to work for approximately twenty minutes. Rinse the hair well and groom with a delousing comb. More than one application of this treatment may be necessary. GSE is also a great cleaning solution for the home. Use a solution of ten drops of the extract to one quart of water and clean as usual.
