Eucalyptus Smithii Essential Oil is a mild, softer eucalyptus, more suited to children or the elderly than the other eucalyptus oils.

Botanical Name: Eucalyptus smithii
Origin: South Africa
Family: Myrtaceae
Aroma: Camphoraceous; considered the mildest of the eucalyptus oils
Method of Extraction: Steam Distilled
Source: Leaves & stems
Main Chemical Components: 1,8 Cineole, a-Pinene, Limonene, p-Cymene
Blends Well With: Pine, thyme, lavender, rosemary, marjoram, cedarwood and lemon essential oils

Description and Uses: Eucalyptus smithii essential oil is excellent for painful joints and muscles when diluted in a carrier oil. This is the eucalyptus that's preferable for children (over the age of five), the elderly and the sensitive, due to its relative mildness.
Caution: Avoid during pregnancy.
